Biden and his new puppy
The Obama girls don’t have their puppy yet, but Joe Biden wasted no time in picking out his new veep’s best friend, the (Delaware) News Journal reports. The vice president-elect has chosen a six-week-old male German shepherd—the “pick of the litter,” says the Pennsylvania breeder. Biden’s wife Jill had promised him a “big dog” if he got elected. Biden says his grandkids will get the naming honors.
“When [Biden] picked up my dog and hugged him and kissed him, I was so happy,” the breeder said. “I knew he’s going to love the dog forever.”
